If you like simple, brief 2 minute visits, then Dr. Chertoff is the guy for you! I brought my son to him several months ago, and was dissatisfied having to go for second opinion elsewhere. Giving Dr. Chertoff the benefit of the doubt, I gave him a second chance since I had a different issue. I left there feeling the exact same way, very disappointed and having to go for a second opinion. I do NOT recommend this doctor! A two minute doctors visit cost 259 dollars, he was not even worth 2.59 cents.
Dr. Chertoff performed two arthroscopic knee surgeries on me to repair severely torn ACL's. I am extremely pleased with the quality and compassionate care I received, my recovery, and his highly dedicated staff. I would recommend him to both family and friend.
Very unprofessional expierence. I broke my tibia and visited Chertoff for a follow up. He took one glance st my leg and said "second opinion" He gave me a false story saying I needed a cat scan but if he requested it it would take workmans comp up to 6 weeks to have it done, so he would send me else where because other offices "had a deal with the state" to have the cat scan done sooner. Completely false. His nurse freaked out when she saw my injury asking anyone near to "look it that, its disgusting" If I didn't request it, he would have let me leave with out a cast, (broken bone in leg). Just an all around negligent, incompetent and amateurish operation at that office. I also beleive his negligence caused my injury to be a lot more severe than it should have been.
On a positive note, his staff was fantastic! His nurse and receptionist:)
This doctor fixed me when I was only 20 yrs old.I have so much respect for him.Im currently 50 yrs old and just starting to have problems again. I live in Michigan but if my insurance company would cover it I would like to have Dr. CHERTOFF, to make it great again.. Much Respect for him. Donna Sanchez-Modrak.
