Consists of a supermarket, bank, gas station & liquor store. Not much of a plaza. Not far from the highway.
I love it the way is lined up. Start at a big store down to another big store. Love how there's a family Dollar next to a Dollar tree. What ever you can't find in family you can get in Dollar tree. Also nail techs. And phone techs. And auto part the place has a bit of everything. Which beats Springfield plaza since Kmart was taken out.
There's a grubbiness about the place. A feeling of desperation. A number of good sized storefronts are vacant and it's a sprawling quarter mile long. There are still some good stores here, like JoAnn Fabrics, Ocean State Job Lots, a Dollar Tree, and a decent liquor store. They'll probably move.
There is a Stop and Shop, a Citizens Bank branch, a Bank of America branch and a Liquors 44 store. The Stop and Shop does not do anything but deli meat to order. All other meats, poultry, seafood are packaged prior to being put on the floor, so you just have to hope they have what you are seeking.
Great, clean stop and shop. Get all my necessities there. The liquors 44 is nice too. Nice staff.
